The Esteros del Ibera is a vast network of rivers, streams, swamps, lagoons and marshes covered between 15 000 and 25 000 km ² in the province of Corrientes in northeastern Argentina. Is only surpassed in size by the Brazilian Pantanal, with which form the second largest wetland in the world, part of a much larger river system, the Ibera macrosystem, close of 1 300 000 ha which develops a subtropical ecosystem of tremendous diversity.
