Guanaja is an island visited by divers for warm, clear waters that hold part of the second largest coral reef in the world, also visited by nature lovers, biologists want to know biodiversity on the island, trees and plants, animals and peces.Guanaja is one of the three Bay Islands, Honduras in the Caribbean. It is located approximately 70 miles north of the coast of Honduras, and 12 kilometers from the island of Roatan. One of the Keys is also called Guanaja Guanaja or Bonacca, or simply El Cayo.
